2017: CLIMBING POP UP
In March 2017, we indulged our love for all things climbing with our pop up for women climbers at Redpoint Climbing Centre in Bristol.
We showcased:
- the creme-de-la-creme of Women's Climbing films,
- an awesome Adventure Photography class led by Nick Corkill;
- a Yoga for Climbers mini masterclass from Trika Yoga and
- expert Climbing Tuition from supportive Redpoint tutors = a very fun way to spend a Sunday in Spring!
2016: Shextreme French Alps Film Tour: Chamonix
We showcased inspiring women in action sports and adventure on the big screen at MBC in Chamonix to a packed house of mountain lovers.
To continue to spread the good word about active women in adventure, that night we also held an interview panel with Heather Swift: Founder of Women's Mountain Collective and the awesome Mary Kay athlete Kat Follows.
Then we danced the night away to live original music from Cab Collective!
2016: Shextreme French Alps Film Tour: TIGNES AND MERIBEL.
We then adventured across the French Alps to our last two film tour stops bringing inspiring female film content to big crowds in Doran's in Meribel and Loop Bar in Tignes.
In Meribel, we were delighted to have incredible GB's no. 1 ski cross athlete Emily Sarsfield introduce our empowering Shextreme film screening followed by live art from Aidy Brooks and late night tunes.
In Tignes, Squash Falconer was pure inspiration during our live interview before our Shextreme film screening and we had all the fun dancing to Too Many T's to complete the Shextreme tour with a bang!
