To all the wild women who answer the call of adventure: Shextreme Film Festival is dedicated to you.

We are the world's first film festival celebrating women in extreme sports and adventure.

Building on the growth of shextreme.tv, last year's sell-out film festival success and film tour around the French Alps, we are returning again this year to offer you an opportunity to become part of our empowering film community that proudly promotes equality in extreme sports and adventure.

At Shextreme Film Festival 2018, we also launched the world’s first International Network for female adventure filmmakers, photographers and media makers: Shextreme Alliance.

Meet Our Team

Ruth is the founder of shextreme.tv. She is an active filmmaker, sound artist and academic and enjoys snowboarding, surfing and climbing in her spare time.
